How does the program work?
In your acceptance e-mail, you will receive directions for creating banners and links with the proper tracking codes from which your friends, visitors, and customers can register for a Homestead package. When they sign up for Homestead via this link, you will earn a referral fee from Homestead (subject to the terms and conditions in our Terms of Use Agreement.)
How much will Homestead pay me?

How does it work when I have more than one URL?
When you create banners and links on Linkshare, the proper HTML tracking codes are automatically generated for you. You can place these tracking codes in any of your URLs and we will be able to automatically track your referral fees.
My link isn't working properly. What should I do?
If you experience trouble with your link, please do the following:
1. Verify that your HTML code is identical to the code Linkshare provides. Be
sure to copy all of the code.
2. Make sure you have not added extra spaces or hard returns in the code.
IMPORTANT!! Altering the HTML code may affect the tracking of transactions
originating from your link. We strongly suggest that you do not modify the HTML
code in any way.

Do I have to be a Homestead member or have a website to be an Affiliate?
No, you do not have to be a Homestead member, but you do need a website to be an Affiliate.
Once you become an Affiliate you'll receive directions for creating banners and links with the proper tracking codes, you can place these on any website, regardless of whether or not you are a Homestead member. You can also place these banners and links in your e-mails to earn your referral fees.
There are cases where we cannot allow certain sites to participate in our Affiliate Program. We will evaluate your application and notify you of your acceptance or rejection. At our sole discretion, we may reject your website for content unsuitable for our program. Unsuitable sites include those that promote sexually-explicit materials, violence, illegal activities and discrimination. We will also disapprove sites that violate intellectual property rights.
Affiliates may direct link to Homestead.com for a limited, two week test with special permission. Please contact us if you wish to do this.
Affiliates may bid on Homestead branded terms as long as they appear below Homestead in the search results and do not direct link.
Please note that if we accept your application and your site is thereafter determined to be inappropriate for the program, we may terminate our relationship at our sole discretion.
How soon can I post my Homestead links and start earning commissions?
Once your registration is processed and approved, Linkshare activates your sales tracking information and you can access Homestead's banners and text links. When you post them to your website, you can begin earning money.
Once you have registered and been approved, Linkshare will contact you with a user name and password confirmation. You can then access your Homestead account at Linkshare. Simply click on "Create Links" and select Homestead from the list of merchants. You'll be provided with a variety of banners, buttons, and text links. You can add these to your website.
